FEJIRO is a coming-of-age story set in Sapele, Delta State, about a young girl with an unshakable dream of becoming a filmmaker. Driven by passion but limited by her environment, Fejiro secretly takes a risk—stealing small items from her uncle’s shop to create props for a make-believe film with her friends. What follows is a chaotic but heartfelt attempt at storytelling, where imagination transforms ordinary spaces into a film set. However, when the shoot is over and she reviews the footage, reality hits—it's far from the vision she had in her head. Disappointed and discouraged, Fejiro begins to question her dream. But through the unwavering support of her friends, she comes to understand that failure is part of the process—that this imperfect film is not the end, but the beginning of her journey into filmmaking.
